Your profile
- You have experience in the meat processing industry acquired in a similar role
- You may have trained as a butcher yourself and have completed a degree in mechanical engineering or, alternatively, have completed further training to become a state-certified engineer with relevant professional experience
- With your relevant expertise in the design of special-purpose machines and plants, drive technology or conveyor technology – ideally acquired from the food industry – you will develop individual solutions both independently and as part of a team
Your tasks
- You will be responsible for developing innovative technical solutions for the areas of tubular tracks and cutting – from rough planning to detailed concept development and implementation
- You will support the Sales Department with presenting and explaining concept proposals
- You will develop design drafts and design documents up to drawings that are ready for production in the CAD program (Solid Edge) in 2D and 3D, taking into account standards, safety regulations and customer regulations, not to mention cost and quality aspects
- As the central contact for technical issues, you will coordinate all the necessary processes with internal departments such as Sales, Project Management, Production and Assembly and with suppliers
- You will be responsible for innovation management in the areas of tubular tracks and cutting equipment
- You will prepare the parts lists in the ERP system, develop hazard analyses and prepare the project-accompanying technical documentation
