What do you do in this profession?
As a technical product designer at Helmers Maschinenbau, you will assist our engineers with developing and implementing technical machines and plants for intralogistics and conveyor technology. You will draft, construct and design components and assemblies up to complete plants and will create and maintain the technical documentation. You will be able to use state-of-the-art 2D / 3D CAD systems for this purpose.

- Designing, developing and calculating components and assemblies using 2D / 3D CAD up to entire plants in intralogistics
- Managing data in the databases used
- Preparing technical documents
- Distinguishing between materials, not to mention manufacturing processes and assembly techniques
- Assessing materials and auxiliary supplies
- Conducting simulations
- Skills, knowledge and abilities in the areas of manufacturing, joining and assembly technology, as well as control and electrical engineering
- Observing environmental protection measures and accident prevention regulations
- Observing rights and obligations
- The company’s Supply, Procurement, Manufacturing and Administration Divisions
- Applying occupational health and safety regulations
